Baby Blanket Update!

So I haven’t posted in a while about any of the projects that I have been working on. Mostly because I have been so busy with well you know life! lol. I have still been giving myself time to zen out with crochet and my other crafts though, just haven’t posted about them. Sorry for leaving you abandoned my dear readers. sorry, sorry sorry…

I have however been working on the baby blanket for my new niece! We found out last week she was having a girl! I was more than excited to hear this, seeing as how I already made a cute pair of baby booties for her. (seen in my previous post Baby Booties)

I am working very hard to complete the blanket so I can start on some of the other projects I had in mind for her. I may even delve into some knitting projects for her, I think I may be getting a little carried away with myself now 😀 eh well see!

Craft Inspiration

 

Hello Bloggers,

 

I have been looking all over for some more crochet inspiration. I am still in the process of making my little sisters baby blanket. But I tend to have a little ADD with crochet projects so I always seek out a secondary project to help get me by… 😀

I was looking at Pinterest and saw so many cute ideas on there… If you a pinterest member follow me… I will follow you :D!

Anyways back to the point I found a couple of maybe future projects…

Crochet Sunday!

 

Hello all!!!

Its Sunday!!!!! So that means I was able to crochet at work and tune out the callers on the other end of my phone, yet again…. I got so much done, I have finished  another panel on my baby blanket  from my previous post https://craftynowy.wordpress.com/2012/04/19/baby-blanket/ Its coming along quite nicely I might add. I love this pattern because unlike other afghans it doesn’t feel like you are doing just one continuous line with the same yarn, rather you are working in segments. It makes the progress of the blanket pass by much more quickly.

Also this fabulous yarn is so soft and easy to work with. I highly recommend that if you are looking for a bargain yarn that’s quality to try Caron Soft yarn.

Don’t you think my future niece/nephew will look like the cutest goober on this blanket once its done?

Viva the Crochet Revolution!

Baby Blanket

I have officially started my new niece/nephews baby blanket….. we are still unsure of the sex, but she’s not very far along so that’s okay.

I got the pattern from my grandma she saw it on Herrschners website. Its easy to follow because you are working in individual panels so it feels like you are getting a lot done in a short amount of time.

I am using the yarn I bought from Joann.com in my previous post  I really love it, its soft and easy to work with.

I GOT MY YARN!

Well anyways here is the yarn I ordered I am making a baby blankie my grandma gave me a pattern for(hope to make her proud). I chose Caron Soft Yarn for this project because I love working with this yarn it doesn’t fray and is great for baby projects.  Its also super affordable!
